Marketing Associate

What this role is about: 
The Marketing Associate will play an integral role in helping the Company achieve its goals by assisting the Head of Marketing to develop and implement the marketing and communication strategy for the entire organization. The Associate will work across teams at the organization and have a hand in multiple cross-functional projects at one time.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across business units such as engineering, design, media communications and business development to ideate and execute marketing activities
  • Work with marketing team members to create compelling content across variety of channels, including but not limited to RapidSOS social media outlets, blog posts, newsletters
  • Create compelling narratives and track user flows based on strategic priorities and tactical plans
  • Strategize for new video projects and work directly with Media Communications Producer to write scripts, plan filming logistics, and edit projects
  • Plan logistics for conferences (largest 911 industry conferences, IoT conferences, etc.)
  • Work closely with PR agency and partner companies to execute on press and media strategy
  • Analyze user conversion behavior across website, email, paid and organic search, using Google Analytics to determine areas of efficacy and improvement 
 
Requirements
  • Graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience managing projects varying in scales
  • Able to speak to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and Google Productivity Suite
  • Comfortable working with quantitative data
  • Highly self-motivated with tons of initiative
  • Have tenacity to overcome obstacles and to independently and confidently problem-solve your way to the desired outcome
  • Ability and appetite to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Marketing experience strongly preferred 
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Suite, and HubSpot is a plus
