Privacy Operations Intern

To this end, we’ve created a 12-week summer intern program to provide an inside look at Facebook’s Digital Rights Operations roles, offering real world work experience in the technology sector. The program is designed to provide exposure to students who have an academic interest in the intersection of law and technology and operations. 

This specific role is on the Privacy Operations team. We build and preserve user trust and engagement by developing scaled solutions, supporting both user and non-user data protection and privacy requests and delivering qualitative and quantitative insights to enable Facebook to improve our products 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain hands on experience and work on a challenging project
  • Exposure to working in Facebooks Privacy, Digital Rights Operations team
  • Work on an impactful and meaningful project relating to the teams core work giving you unique experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program with graduation dates between Dec. 2019-Aug. 2020
  • Interest and passion to work in a Digital / Legal role within the tech sector
  • Available to work in [Sunnyvale/Mountain View, California], for the 12-week duration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship/co-op

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Studying law, business, political science, or a related degree
  • At least one prior internship ideally within a relatable field
