Programmer [Tokyo]

We are looking for students who are interested in Programming to join our growing team based in Tokyo. Information Development Group works with many of Japan’s largest corporations by providing critical IT support, from building and operating their networks to developing software and platforms to meet our clients’ needs. Our Programmers play important roles in developing systems and infrastructures and optimizing their performance for clients.

• Conversational level Japanese required

•   Any background in programming languages

•   All IT backgrounds are welcome to apply

•   General computer and system knowledge

•   Ability to think quickly

•   Excellent at following directions

•   Develop new applications from beginning to end

•   Create application manuals for newly created software to ensure consistent implementation

•   Maintain existing applications

•   Create code that meets system standards

•   Analyze methods to efficiently address software system requirements

•   Adapt software and applications to meet clients' needs

•   Work independently and with global teams on key projects

We work with applicants one on one to make sure they have a smooth transition to life in Japan. In order to do this, we take the following steps:

1.) Provide complete Japanese employment visa coverage

2.) Set up corporate housing prior to arrival in Japan

3.) Reimburse all travel & moving costs in the first months salary

4.) Assist in setting up a bank account / phone / internet

5.) Assist in adapting to Japanese work culture
